Hugh “Beale” Rodgers

Hugh “Beale” Rodgers, 73, of Christiansburg, Virginia passed away on December 16, 2021.
He grew up in Suffolk, Virginia and was a 1966 graduate of Suffolk High School. He went on to attend Virginia Tech, graduating in 1970. He was a true Hokie fan!
“Beale” was born in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Stanley Leroy Rodgers, Sr. and Louise Beale Rodgers, he was also preceded in death by his first wife Margaret Susan Payne and his second wife Carol Janet Rodgers.
Surviving are his son Shannon Rodgers (Karla Rodgers), step-son Michael Cox (Tasha Cox), step-daughter Caroline Hickam (Cecil Hickam), and step-son Jon Cox; two grandchildren, Maisie Rodgers and Tanner Rodgers; five step-grandchildren, Mikayla Cox, Meagan Cox, Molly Cox, Madeline Hickam, and Liam Hickam.
Visitation will be Monday, December 20, 2021 from 6-8:00pm at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Horne Funeral Home on Tuesday, December, 21st at 11 am with Pastor Danny Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
