Helen Marie Campagna

Helen Marie Campagna, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2018.

Marie graduated from St. Mary’s in Columbus, Ohio with honors. After marrying Alfonso, she became a homemaker, designing birthday cakes and surprises cakes. She was an expert crotchetier. She also loved to play cards and spend time with her family but her family will remember her most as a prayer warrior. She was the glue that held them together. She taught them to always pray about everything.

She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Bernice Gress. She was also preceded in death by the love of her life, Alfonso Campagna; sister, Patty Gress; daughter, Cheryl Ann Boggs; and a son, Steve Henry Boggs. Those left to cherish her memory and time spent with her are sons, Rev. James M. Boggs and wife Diane) of Christiansburg, VA, Charles Anthony Campagna and wife Angela) of Mabscott, WV, Tom Boggs of FL, Dianna Johnson of Daytona Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; as well as three adopted grandchildren.

The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Jubilee Christian Church, with Dr. Rev. Gary Hash and Rev. James Boggs officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Memorial Service.
