Our beloved Mother, Hazel Pannell Wiseley, of Christiansburg, entered into the arms of Jesus on April 3, 2012.
She was born on August 14, 1918, in Wythe County. She was predeceased by her loving parents, George R. and Lettie Etter Pannell. Also preceding her in death was her husband, George Alfred Wiseley; brother, James Pannell; and sister, Barbara Woodfield.
She is survived by her loving and devoted daughters, Mabel Campbell of Midlothian and Agnes Williams of Floyd; sister, Irene (Manley) Corvin; brother, Robert (Helen) Pannell; grandchildren, Debra Tarantino (Joseph), James Campbell (Donna), Melinda Campbell, Gary Williams, Todd Williams (Tracey) and Donna Chaney (Barry); 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 6, 2012, from 5-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 11 am in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dusty Etter officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
