JENNINGS, HARRY ALBERT, age 81, of Christiansburg, VA passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home.
He was a retired employee of Hubbell Lighting. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry A. and Frieda Wichterman Jennings.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Mann Jennings; sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Susan Jennings, Timothy and Michele Jennings, Jeffrey and Shannon Jennings, Christopher and Karen Jennings; a special daughter, Karen Sugalski; grandchildren, Melissa, Jeremy, Jessica, Tabatha and Aislynn; great grandchildren, Adam, Jenna, Jacob and Rachel; several great nieces and nephews; also a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asked PLEASE send donations to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, PO Box 176, Christiansburg, VA 24068, “a very special group of people”. The family will receive friends from 4 until 8p.m. Monday, March 9th at the Horne Funeral Service. A funeral service will be 7p.m. Monday, Mar. 9th, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel.
