Harriet Stockhoff 83 of Christiansburg, passed away on May 26, 2022.
She was born on January 18, 1939. Harriet worked at East Greenbush NY Central School District for 30 years and was a special needs teachers aide and union president there. She enjoyed participating in her church’s choirs, and was a youth group leader as well as a church elder. Harriet had a special love for dogs.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 62 years, Rev. Ronald Stockhoff; daughter, Mrs. Susan Mayorga and Robert; adult grandchildren, Avalon, Jesse; son, Eric Stockhoff and Cindy; adult grandchildren, Becky, Shelby.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 5 at 7 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Radford, 201 4th St in Radford. There will also be a Graveside Service in Albany, NY at a later date at the First Church (Reformed), with interment to follow that service in the Columbarium.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Harriet’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Pulaski Adult Day Service and Fall Prevention Center in Dublin, VA.
