Harriet S. Silber

Harriet S. Silber, 92, of Chicago, Illinois passed away Tuesday September 13, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Anna Goldberg; daughter, Deborah Silber and siblings, Charlotte and Alan Goldberg. She is survived by her three sons Gershon (Donna) Silber, Jonathan (Zully) Silber, and Gary (Marion) Silber; eight grandchildren, Laurel, Christopher, Anne, Rachel, Kate, Victoria, David and Wyeth; as well as eleven great-grandchildren. Harriet was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a dedicated elementary school teacher known for her good humor and forgiving nature and concern for the less fortunate.
