Vaughn, Harold Wayne, 70, of Riner, VA passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Beulah Vaughn and brother, Jay Vaughn.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 50 years, Corrine Thompson Vaughn, of Riner; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Mark Vaughn, Blacksburg, Jody and Sherri Vaughn, of Radford, Joshua and Kim Vaughn, of Riner; one daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Thom Rutledge, of Christiansburg; nine grandchildren, Derek Vaughn, Ashley Lytton, Matthew, Nathan, and Laura Vaughn, Jessie, Zackary, Jacob, and Hannah Rutledge. Two brothers and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jimmie Vaughn, Mike Vaughn, Marie and Dave Chaphin, Marilyn and Craig Wilkinson, all of Richmond.
The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, March 14, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2009 in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Larry Hollandsworth officiating.
Interment will follow at Thompson Family Cemetery in Alum Ridge.
