Duncan, Gracie Lee Cragget, 85, of Radford, V A, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 23, 2011.
She was born July 1, 1925 in Montgomery County, VA to the late Harvey and Mary Jane Fizer Cragget. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Ed Duncan, son, John Bobby Duncan, daughter, Margarett Kissinger, 2 grandsons, Wakco Cox and Matthew Duncan, and 2 sisters.
She was an avid collector of babydolls, and loved to embroider and loved her animals.
She is survived by her children, Patricia and Waitman Cox, Edward and Gail Duncan, William and Doris Duncan, and Joe Duncan; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; special sisters, Sarah Gallimore, Hazel Lewis, and Barbara Rose; brother, Albert Cragget; special friend, Brenda Gale Keith, and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 28, 2011 from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
