Gilbert Woolwine

Gilbert Woolwine, 89, of Christiansburg, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gracie Mae Woolwine; granddaughter, Ursula Woolwine; and 12 siblings.
Gilbert is survived by his son, Teddy and Sally Woolwine; daughter, Lois Brunner; grandchildren, Jimmy and Sharon Brunner III, Crystal and Charlie Cooper; great-granddaughters, Brooke and Madison Brunner; sister-in-law, Garnet Woolwine; caregiver, Kay Terry who we cannot thank enough for the excellent care of Gilbert and Gracie Mae; and his cat, Tara.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jube Burk and Pastor Josh Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
