Geraldine Cantrell Kelly, 79, of Christiansburg, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012.
She is survived by her son, Don (Kathy) Cantrell; grandchildren, Jon Cantrell and Sandra Younce; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Cam Cantrell and Jim Cantrell; sisters, Velva Wirt, Emma Young and Barbara Taylor.
Geraldine loved to make quilts and then give them away.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 10, 2012, from 6-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 11, at 1 pm at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Kingrea and Rev. Leon Alley officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
Flowers are appreciated, however, anyone wishing to make donations in memory of Geraldine may do so to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P O Box 176, Christiansburg, VA 24068.
