Geraldine Clower

Geraldine Sue Clower, 68 of Pilot went to be with her Lord and Savior September 21, 2010, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Pilot, and a long time employee of Roses Department Store in Christiansburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harless and Reba Clower. She is survived by her sister Dianne (Wendell) Light and her brother Harless (Lola) Clower, Nieces Michelle (Steve) Lyons, Amanda (Steve) Haynes, Nephews Brian (Teresa) Light, and Nathan Clower. Great nieces and nephews, Zach, Brittany, Rylee, Kendall, Robert, and Brandon also survive.

The family wishes to thank Skyline Nursing and Rehab for the caring of Geraldine for the past seven years. Thanks also to Carilion New River Hospice.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 24, 2010 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 11:00 in Horne Funeral Home Chapel with ministers Larry Meadors and Leon Alley officiating. Burial will follow in Huffville Cemetery, Floyd.
