McGUYER, GEORGE LESTER, age 79, of Riner, passed away June 13, 2007. He was a retired employee of the Radford Arsenal where he worked for 37 ? years. He was an avid, life-long fox hunter. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Clarice McGuyer; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon & Trigg Nowlin; step-sons & daughters-in-law, Sam & Brenda Brammer and Mike & Penny Brammer; brother, Clifford McGuyer; sisters-in-law, Pauline, Olivia and Velma McGuyer; grandchildren, Amy & Stephen Marshall, Justin Bishop, Jonathan Nowlin, Monica Nowlin and Marcus Nowlin; step-grandchildren, Randy & Chastity Brammer, Kristi & Mike Hamilton, Rusty & Joni Brammer, Greg & Jackie Brammer, Sherisa & Jason Nailor; great grandchildren, Alexis Nowlin, Izzie Marshall, Marcell Bishop, Jaylon Bishop, Quinton Hamilton, Mackenzie Hamilton, Zachary Hamilton, Brandon Brammer, Brianna Brammer, Ashlie Brammer, Jacob Brammer, Terrin Brammer, Grace Brammer, and Joleigh Mariah Nailor and many friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16 at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 17 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Neal Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Farris Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Roberson and the nurses of Montgomery Regional Hospital, especially Marlana Zimmerman.
