Richards, Gary William, 52, of Roanoke, formerly of Christiansburg, passed away July 15, 2009.
Mr. Richards was preceded in death by his father, James W. Richards, and his mother, Katherine Neece.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Scott Lentner, of Christiansburg; sister, Sandy Sawyers, of Riner; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and David Yopp, of Riner; brother, David Neece, of Christiansburg, 3 nieces, 3 nephews, his special family at Restin South, other family, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at The Crossing Foursquare Church, 402 Colorado Street, Salem, VA, 24153 with Rev. Jay Robinette officiating. In lieu of flowers, the Richards family wishes donations to be sent to Feed The Children, P.O. Box 36, Oklahoma City, OK 73101.
