Brooks, Gary Alan (Gambler), 60, of Shawsville, VA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 11, 2010.
He was born August 3, 1950 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Earl and Ora Ayers Brooks.
He made his life’s living as a truck driver for over 35 years.
He is survived by his son, Brandon Brooks; brother, Dennis Brooks and wife Gayle; sisters, Dr. Brenda Finley and husband Don, and Cindy Webb and husband David; former wife, Pam Brooks; his loving companion, “C.J.”; and special friends, Cindy Morgan, Angie, Courtney, and Leslie.
Family and friends will gather to honor his memory at his sister’s home in Glenvar on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
