Hylton, Francis S. (Frank), 77, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. He was born September 29, 1933 in Martinsville, VA to the late Jack and Frances Fulcher Hylton.
He served his country in the United States Army and retired from Nestle Foods.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Perna Hylton; children, Mark Hylton and Becky Presgraves and her husband Dwayne; grandchildren, Chelsea Hylton, Michal Hylton, Zack Presgraves, and Morgan Presgraves; sisters, Katheryn Cramer and her husband Fred and Nancy Settle and her husband Don; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 3825-A Electric Road, SW, Roanoke, VA 24018, National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018, or Alzheimer’s.Association, Western Virginia,1160 Pepsi Place, Suite 306, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Pastor Olin Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Nettle Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery in Stuart, VA following the service at 2:30.
