BRAMBLETT, FRANCES, age 79, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 11, 2005.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James Edward Bramblett; two brothers, LeVan Obenshain and Kenneth Obenshain. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Mark & Katherine Bramblett of Montvale, VA; Rickey & Ruth Ann Bramblett of Waldorf, MD; grandchildren, Amy B. & Darren Robinson, Chad & Charlotte Krantz; three great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Roy (RL) & Jean Obenshain of Richmond; sisters, Velma Britt of Salem, VA and Helen Wood of San Mateo, CA.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 14th at the Main Street Baptist Church in Christiansburg with Dr. A. Timothy Hight and Rev. Gary Long officiating. There will be a graveside service and interment at 1:00 p.m. at the Mill Creek Cemetery in Troutville. Flowers would be appreciated; however, those wishing to make memorial contributions, please consider the American Cancer Society for Ovarian Cancer; 9 East Church Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24011. The Bramblett Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
