Eva Simpkins, 70, of Radford, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Sadie Simpkins; and brother, Hugh Simpkins. She is survived by her son, Phillip (Melissa) Simpkins; grandchildren, Joshua, Amanda, and Allison Simpkins; great-grandchild, Aiden Lee; brothers, Stevie Simpkins and Randall Simpkins; sisters, Betty Quesenberry, Brenda Lucas, Carolyn Adams, Patsy Sharp, Joan Anderson, and Bessie DeHart; sister-in-law, Rachel Simpkins; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Latrice Calloway; and special buddy, Sue Folden.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 5, 2015, from 1-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Simpkins Family Cemetery.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Carilion Hospice for their loving care of Eva. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Horne Funeral Home to help the family offset expenses.
