Eva Mae Thornton Brammer Sutphin

Eva Mae Thornton Brammer Sutphin, 91, of Christiansburg, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Dora Thornton; seven sisters; one brother; husbands, Harold Brammer and Grover Sutphin, and daughter, Barbara Ann Hawley. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in- laws, Daniel and Doris Sutphin and George and Becky Brammer; daughter and son-in- law, Louise and Kirk Johns; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She lived her faith and dependence on God and love her family very much. Our special thanks to Keith and Beverly Hawley for their wonderful care to Mom.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
