GEARHEART, Eva Buckner, 89 of Christiansburg, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday February 13, 2011.
The daughter to the late Presley and Eura Buckner, she was also preceded in death by her husband Basil Randolph Gearheart.
She is survived by her step-son and daughter-in-law; Randall and Margaret (Lilly) Gearheart of Blue Ridge, VA, one step grandson; Anthony Gearheart of Lynchburg, VA, sister; Ida Thompson, brother-in-law and his wife; Robert M. and his wife; Margaret Dowdy Gearheart of Christiansburg, nephew; Robert D. Gearheart. Many other nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 5 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Alley officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
