Eula Simpkins

SIMPKINS, EULA WADE ?NANNY?, born January 5, 1923 went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 10th, 2005 at her home in Christiansburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Wade Simpkins. Survivors include her six children, Kenneth Simpkins of Christiansburg; Richard Simpkins, of Christiansburg , Ita Bishop of Riner, Joe Simpkins of Snowville; Ruth Sutphin-Thomas of Christiansburg; and Connie Moses of Radford; one brother, Frank Wade of Hopewell; two sisters, Helen & Ovela Wade of Radford; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 12 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
