LANCOUR, Eugene R., 74 of Christiansburg died Friday, January 21, 2005 at New River Valley Medical Center.
He is survived by; Jane, his sister and brother-in-law; Morris and Mary Logan, his children; David and Denise Reece, David and Michelle Campbell, Gene and Diane Lancour, Luther and Susan Edwards, Selena Harris, Jeff and Sheila Lancour, Scott and Tracy Long, and Guy and Kellie Lancour. Also surviving him are his grandchildren; Christopher Cherry, Nadene and Gabriel Campbell, Jonathan, Danette, and Matthew Lancour, Jeremy and Jacob Edwards, Matthew Scott Harris, Kyle, Stacey, and Gianna Lancour, James and Joshua Long, Sarah Jo, Jedediah, Callum, Levi, and Josiah Lancour. Micah Lancour, his great grandchild also survives him.
There will be a Funeral Mass held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 355 Independence Blvd, Christiansburg, 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2005, with Father John Prinelli presiding. A graveside service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, in Arlington, VA, 1 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2005.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, (Building Fund) P.O. Box 98, Christiansburg, VA 24068.
