Castor, Estelle Belcher, 89, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010.
She served her country in the Army Women’s Corps during WW II, was a member of V.F.W. Post # 5311, and a member of Cambria Baptist Church.
She is survived by a brother, James Evard Belcher of Frederick, MD; a sister, Nancy Walker of Christiansburg, VA; seven children, Evard Castor and wife Kathy of Corpus Christi, TX, Brenda Castor of Reno, NV, Charles Castor and wife Sandy of Rural Retreat, VA, Theodore Castor, Timothy Castor, and Tammara Castor, Erlene Barber and husband D. Michael, all of Christiansburg, VA; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Cambria Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 11:00 am at Cambria Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton, WV at a later date.
