Emma Lou Reed

Emma Lou Reed, 90 of Christiansburg went home to be with the lord February 12,2022. She is preceded in death by her mother, India and dad, Hollace; brothers, AD, Edward, Earl; sisters, Thelma, Janice, Bobby; loving husband, Elbert Reed; daughter, Debra Custer; son, Darrell (triple D) Duncan; and great-granddaughter Rylee Coe.
She is survived by daughter, Claudia Burton; sister, Judy Dickerson; grandchildren, Emily Conley (John Coe, Rachel Duncan, Chris Burton (Amanda Parker), Brad Burton (Felicia), Amy Smith (Kyle), Jessi Sutphin (Chris), Jason Honaker (Becky); great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Haileigh, Hunter, Travis, Shane Burton, William, Austin, Harless, Lelyn, Mackenzie, Tailor, Mckyla, Tristan, Justin, Kayleigh, Shane, and Faith; great -great-grandchildren Naomi &Titus Barr; as well as special friends, Betty Simpkins and Rene Earles; and special in-laws, Dennis and Mona Reed.
Visitation is Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 12-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
