BEEKEN, ELLA FREY, age 94, of Christiansburg passed away Thursday, September 20, 2007.
She was the daughter to the late Thomas Doswell and Addie M. Frey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Stephen J. Beeken; her son, Stephen John Beeken, II; daughter-in-law, Dr. Lois A. Beeken, sister and brother-in-law, Adelaide Frey Small and C. LeRoy Small.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Thomas H. Beeken and wife, Tamar of Christiansburg; Ruth B. Ashworth and husband, Harold of Salem; eight Grandchildren; and eight Great Grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2007 at Sunset Cemetery with Rev. Phyllis Speigel officiating. The family wishes to express their thanks to Avante of Roanoke, especially Station Four. In lieu of flowers please consider contributions to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P. O.
