Elizabeth “Liz” Correa of Pilot, passed away on October 2, 2014. She was born on January 14, 1952 in Manhattan, NY. Liz was a dedicated advocate for the local Hispanic community as a linguistic interpreter. Liz impacted the lives of everyone she met with her infectious smile, her positive demeanor, and her warm heart. The same traits she displayed as the most enthusiastic Grandma.
Liz is survived by her loving son, Michael Cusano; daughter-in-law, Aisha Cusano; granddaughter, Saniyya Cusano; sisters, Anna Calderon and Niki Negran; brother, Tony Correa; nieces, Allyson Schankowitz and Amanda Colon; nephews, Tony Colon, Jonathan Weston and many more nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed, but always remembered.
The Family will have a Celebration of Life at the home of Liz on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
Liz is survived by her loving son, Michael Cusano; daughter-in-law, Aisha Cusano; granddaughter, Saniyya Cusano; sisters, Anna Calderon and Niki Negran; brother, Tony Correa; nieces, Allyson Schankowitz and Amanda Colon; nephews, Tony Colon, Jonathan Weston and many more nieces and nephews.
