Edward Lee Howell

Edward Lee Howell, 74, of Riner, passed away on Saturday, June, 25, 2016.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar M. Howell and Margaret K. Phillips; his son, Dennis Howell and, his brother Phillip W. Howell.
Lee is survived by his sister; Judy Ann Howell Altizer, favorite niece; Sandra D. Altizer, special aunt; Leona K. Reed; and numerous cousins.
Lee was retired from the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Division. 25 years of service to our country including 4 tours of duty in Vietnam. Highly decorated solider to include the bronze medal; he will be sorely missed by his Sis.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, June, 29 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veteran Cemetery in Dublin.
