Edward Hamilton DeHart, 70, of Riner, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie L. and Nannie S. DeHart; a brother, Jerry DeHart; two sisters, Helen White and Sara Cleveland.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Patricia W. DeHart; and beloved sons, Eddie DeHart and Gregory L. and wife, Amy DeHart of Riner, VA; a granddaughter, Jocelyn Kaia DeHart; a grandson, Dakota Cain; five brothers, William, David, Edgar, George and Randy DeHart; two sisters, Eva Walker and Jean Perdue; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 1, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Blake Griffith officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
