Early Bryant 'E.B.' Duncan Sr.

Early Bryant ‘E.B.’ Duncan, Sr., 78, of Floyd, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on December 27, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Sara Duncan; infant son, Bobby Duncan; siblings, Bob Duncan, Irvin Duncan, and Clara Barton. E.B. is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Margaret Duncan; children, Early B. Duncan, Jr. (Barbara), Brenda Correll (Mike), Bertha Troxel; step-children, Richie Mills, Sheila Caviness (who was also his caregiver); brother, Harold Duncan (Faye); six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; best friend, Ray Troxel; and many other extended family and friends.

E.B. was an avid bowler and a devoted family man, a longtime member of the Church of God, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2016, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mike Correll officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
