Dorothy Mae (Deet) Duncan

Dorothy (Deet) Mae Duncan, 82 of Christiansburg, passed away on June 2, 2022.
Dorothy was born on October 8, 1939, to James and Ethel Sumler. In 1962, Dorothy and Robert L Duncan married in Christiansburg. Dorothy and Robert went on to have 3 children Robert Jr, Lisa Ann and Anthony Todd.
Along with her parents Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Robert L Duncan; brothers, George and Donald Sumler; and sisters, Betty Sumler, Francis Ratcliff, Margaret Craft, Juanita Barker, and Louise Montgomery.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Robert (Robbie) Duncan, Anthony (Todd) Duncan spouse Christy Bishop; daughter, Lisa Duncan; grandchildren, Michael, Trista, Jaret, Alaney and Zachary; sister, Mary Linkous; brothers, Lewis Sumler, and Roger Sumler; special nieces, Connie Krupa, Brenda Early & Donna Dickerson; as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday June 7, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday June 8, 2022 at 2 pm. Graveside service to follow at Sunset Cemetery. The Reverend Justin Quesenberry will be officiating.
