Doris Tolley

Tolley, Doris Adkins McGuire, 79 of Christiansburg went to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, April 22, 2009.

She joined in heaven her father and mother Harry and Iva Adkins; brothers, Marvin and Roger Adkins, sister Colleen McGhee, sisters-in-laws Doris Adkins, Violet Woolwine, Virginia Harmon, brothers in-law Steve Woolwine, Jim Harmon, and grandson Lynn Akers.

Surviving is her husband of 49 years Walter Tolley, Sr.; her mother-in-law Rena Tolley, sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Claude Hill, Faye and Mike Fisher, sister-in-law Adell Adkins, brother-in-law Bobby McGhee; children, Cheryl, Elisha, Regina, Todd, Walter Jr., Connie, Donald, Darrell, Thomas, Ronald; grandchildren, Ashley, Chasity, Miranda, Courtney, Whitney, Tammy, Wayne, Jeff, Thomas “George”, Mark and Linberg. several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

She was a devoted Christian of the Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family would like to acknowledge Rev. Lee Sarver and brother Don Leonard. We would also like to thank Dr. Jose Rivero and caring PCU and ICU nursing staff at Montgomery Regional. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday, April 24th at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 25th at the Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church conducted by Pastor Lee Sarver. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
