Donna Gentry Hall, age 77, of Christiansburg, passed away at home on Saturday, January 7, 2012.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Cyrus O. Hall, Jr.; son, Patrick Hall of Cary, NC; daughter, Theresa Attwell & husband, Evans of Houston, TX; and grandchildren, Patrick and Mary Evans Attwell, who lovingly called her “Baba.”
Donna will be missed by family and friends. She was a wonderful cook, and made everyone feel welcome in her kitchen. She was retired from Radford University.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Christiansburg, with Father John Prinelli officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
The family requests that donations be made in Donna’s memory to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P O Box 176, Christiansburg, VA 24068.
