Donald Curtis

Curtis, Donald Ray, 79, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2010. He was born September 18, 1930 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Lonnie and Evelyn Curtis. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Curtis.

He served his country in the United States Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Belmont Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Freda Long Curtis; daughter, Jennifer Lynnette Curtis; brothers, Paul Curtis and wife Jean and Billy Curtis and wife Faye; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice for there care and support. The family would also like to suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Belmont Christian Church Vision Fund.

A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 4:00 pm at Belmont Christian Church with Jerry Dowdy officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 pm Sunday until time of service.
