Donald Charles Cooper, 72, of Christiansburg passed away October 4, 2012, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie & Omar Johnson Cooper; brothers, Bill, Homer, Ward, Roger, James & Ralph Cooper; sisters, Wilma Jean & Doris Cooper.
He is survived by sisters, Betty Brewster, Zuni, VA & Peggy Semernezski, TN; sister-in-law, Gladys Davis Cooper and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10 at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 6 p.m. Interment will be private.
