VEST, DENNY DARRELL, age 72, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2004.
He was a Veteran having served in the U. S. Army and was the owner/operator of Vest Paving Company.
Survivors include his children, Mike & Kim Vest of Amarillo, TX; Timmy Long of Christiansburg; Scott & Tracy Long of Riner; and Clark & Theresa Vest of Christiansburg; brother and sister-in-law, Wilburn & Eulah Vest of Princeton, WV; grandchildren, Denise Stewart of Lubbock, TX; Daniel Vest of Amarillo, TX; James Long and Josh Long both of Riner; Hanna Vest of Christiansburg; former wife and good friend, Doris Bailey; faithful companion, Lucky the Cat; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Horne Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Vest Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service. (382-2612)
