David Justin Bishop, 35 of Christiansburg VA, passed away suddenly on October 17, 2009.
Left to cherish his memory is his best friend, the love of his life and devoted fiance, Mellissa Thompson. His four children Marcel and Jaylen Bishop, Ashley and Matthew Bentley. He was the son of Sharon McGuyer Nowlin and stepson of Trigg Nowlin of Christiansburg. Son of David Smith, Lewisburg, TN. Also surviving are his sisters and brothers, Amy Marshall, Fort Worth, TX, Jonathan Nowlin, Clarksburg, WV, Monica Nowlin, Denver, CO, and Marcus Nowlin of Christiansburg. Loretta Smith, Hickory, NC, David Smith Jr., Murfreesboro, TN, Brian Smith, Franklin, TN, and Mark Smith, Hickory, NC. Also 3 grandchildren, Alexis Nowlin, Christopher and Christian Bentley.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 176, Christiansburg, VA 24068.
