Danny Boyd Ramey, 52, of Blacksburg, VA, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
He is survived by his son, Danny B. Ramey, Jr. & wife, Mandi; 2 grandchildren, Austin and Ashlee; daughter, Virginia M. Hunt & husband, John T. Hunt, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Rachel & John T. Hunt, III; son, Kristopher L. Ramey & fiancée, Kelly Walling; 3 grandchildren, Haley, Kaysen and Hayden; stepmother, Shirley Ramey; sister, Debbie Litton & husband, Ronnie; brother, Daniel C. Ramey, Jr. & wife, Lorna; step-sister, Sheila Rackey; 8 nieces and 3 nephews; as well as extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 26, 2012, from 3-5 pm at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012, at 10 am in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Perry Slaughter officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
The family request in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the family to help offset expences.
