Lester, Danny Lee, 49, of Riner, VA, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010. He was born on August 9, 1961, to Elmer Cecil Lester and Helen Marie Bishop Lester.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Glen Early. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lester; his daughter, Amy and son-in-law, Dehaven Fields and his son, Travis Lester and his girlfriend, Laramie Millirons; his sister, Jo Ann Young and her husband, Jeff; grandchild, Autumn Fields; mother-in-law and step father-in-law; Mary and Leroy MdDaniel; nieces, Cynthia and Heather Young, Ashley Lovell; nephews, RichardBreen, Michael Breen, Glenn Lovell and Matt Cole; sisters-in-law and their husbands, Darlene and Marshall Cole, Melinda and Robert Breen, Melissa and Brian Lovell; and many other friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 5-8p.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, VA. A funeral service will be held at Bain’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jerry Sloss and Mr. Glenn Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, VA.
The Lester family would also like to thank the Staff at Montgomery Regional Hospital for care given to Mr. Lester.
