Lovern, Curtis Wayne, age 55, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away Sunday December 28, 2008 at Montgomery Regional Hospital.
He was born on September 1, 1953 in Montgomery County, VA. He was preceded in death by a sister Teresa Ann Lovern Harris, and grandparents: Herman and Clara Mae Hale and Aaron and Jessie Lovern.
He is survived by his parents Curtis and Mary Lovern; a brother Darrell Lovern and wife Lee, and 18 nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Newburn Church of Jesus. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday December 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Rev. J.P. Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Cemetery, Shawsville, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
