Cornelia Ann Miles Wiley, 97, of Christiansburg, passed away at her daughter's home on Friday, January 18, 2013.
She was born in Christiansburg to the late Joseph and Virginia Wirt Miles. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Caudill Wiley; her grandson Barry Duane Pugh; four brothers; and eight sisters.
She is survived by her daughters: Paulette Dawson, Loretta Pugh and husband Ottis, and Jeanette Harris and husband Asa; her grandchildren: Scott Wayne Harris, Debby Lavender, and Tracey Hurst; and great grandchildren: Nathan and Andrew Lavender, Austin Pugh and Brianna and Logan Hurst.
A special thank you to those at English Meadows who loved Ann, laughed at her sense of humor and enjoyed her singing. Also thank you Good Samaritan Hospice for your loving care and to Peggy, Nell, Virginia and Cheryl, her precious sitters.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 11:00 am with Mr. Clarence Lavender and Mr. Dennis Curd at the Church of Christ located at 1250 South Franklin Street in Christiansburg. There will be no grave side services. The family will receive friends at the Church following the funeral services.
