He is survived by his parents; Ed and Elaine Blackford, brother; Joshua Blackford, sister; Erin Blackford all of Christiansburg, daughter; Mary Blackford; Dublin, grandparents; Harry and Ethel Blackford of Charles Town, West, Virginia, Blanche Jackson of Summit Point, West, VA. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, January, 17, 2008 at The Horne Funeral Home. A private service will be held.
