Clarence Curtis "Buzz" McCann

Clarence Curtis “Buzz” McCann, 79, of Christiansburg, went to join his heavenly Father on March 23, 2015.

Buzz is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Lois Hopkins McCann; son, Curt McCann of Christiansburg; daughters, Vicki McCann and Raymond Hatcher of Christiansburg, and Cindy and Allen Hale of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Chris McCann and wife Liz, Sarah McCann, Curtis James McCann, Travis Hale and wife Vicky, Tyler Hale and wife Brittany; great-grandchildren, Currin McCann, Colt McCann, Hunter Hale, Jackson Hale, Taisie McCann; brother, Corky McCann and wife Darlene of Omaha, Nebraska; and special friend, Dave Wood. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude McCann; and sister, Pauline Gilmore.

Buzz was a member of the Moose Lodge for 31 years, and retired from the ABC Store and Pharis Cleaners.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Dick Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
