Christie Lynn Hudnall

Christie Lynn Hudnall, 48, of Christiansburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus on the morning of Wednesday, October 29, 2014.
Christie was originally from Pratt, WV. She graduated from East Bank High School in East Bank, WV. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Radford University and worked at First National Bank in Christiansburg as a Data Process Center Manager.
Christie served open heartedly at GraceLife Baptist Church (formerly Main Street Baptist Church of Christiansburg). She loved children and served in the children’s ministries, Awana Programs, and Upward Basketball. She loved having tea with the girls while having Bible studies at her home.
Christie was a loving mother and wife. Always ready with a positive loving word. She was truly a Proverbs 31 wife. Christie was a dedicated home schooling mother willing to sacrifice for the needs of her children. Her family looks forward to seeing her again in heaven with a new smile on her face.
Christie is survived by her husband, William ‘Rusty’ Hudnall; her sons, Brandon Hudnall, Zachary Hudnall, Michael Hudnall, and Jesse Hudnall; her parents, Charles and Helen Turner of WV; brother, Charles Dean Turner and wife Melinda, and their three children, Kaleigh, Aidan, and Addison, all of SC; her mother-in-law, Shirley Hudnall of VA; uncle, Dean Stiltner and his wife, Marsha; aunt, Evelyn Valentine; cousins, Mary Valentine and Layna Brown, all of WV.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. McCoy and his staff at Blue Ridge Cancer Care as well as Good Samaritan Hospice for their loving care and support during this difficult time.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 31, 2014, from 4-6 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at 2 p.m. at GraceLife Baptist Church, with Dr. A. Timothy Hight officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
