Charlie Morris

Charlie Swanson Morris, 76, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clive and Sara Morris, and sisters, Thelma Ridpath and Sylvia Barton.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Ruby Morris; son, Chuck and wife, Becky Morris; and daughter, Brenda and husband, Fred Fain. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Buzz and wife, Kelli Morris, Charlie and Chance Morris, and Lee and Luke Fain; two great grandchildren, Lee N. Fain and Logan Franciso. Also surviving are seven siblings and their families: Paul, J.T., Marvin and Doug Morris, Edith Phillips, Dot Simpkins and Judy Smith. Sharing in our loss are some special friends: Bob and Nancy Lane, J.C. and Nancy Dudley, Dale Davis, Bobby Dewesse and Andrew Love.
A memorial service will be held at First Christian Church in Radford on Saturday, May 23rd at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gina Rhea officiating.
