GRIFFITH, CHARLES FREDDIE, age 64, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at his home.
Born June 3, 1940, in Patrick County he was the son of the late Clarence David and Lora Dillon Griffith. Preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Griffith and a brother, Coy Allen Griffith. He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Charles and Lori Griffith, Smith Mountain Lake, Bradley Griffith, Richmond, VA; a step-son, Randy Custer, Newport, VA; a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy Griffith and Robert Brammer, Woolwine, VA a sister-in-law, Annie Griffith, Roanoke, VA; a cousin, Conrad Dillon, Woolwine, VA; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Thursday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, at the Woolwine United Methodist Church, Woolwine, VA, conducted by Rev. Patricia Stover with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. The Griffith family is being served by Horne Funeral & Cremation Service, Christiansburg, VA.
