Charles Merle Costigan, 91, of Christiansburg, passed away on December 15, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Oliver Costigan; and a son, Carey Wayne Costigan.
He is survived by his children, Larry & wife, Nancy Costigan, and Linda & husband, Jerry Young; grandchildren, Amy Price & husband, Troy, Jason Young, Shannon Costigan & wife, Christal, Alison Jones & husband, Kevin, Cammy Stephens and Sherry Costigan; great-grandchildren, Chris, Casey, Jessie, and Jenny Stephens, Layla Price, Owen and Cole Jones; one great-grand-grandchild; one sister, Lucy Reed; a special niece, Christine Costigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service which will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 2 pm from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Mr. Jerry Dowdy presiding. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
Memorials may be made to Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 176, Christiansburg, VA 24068.
