EARLES, CAROL LEWIS, 53, of Richmond, VA, formerly of Christiansburg, VA, died Saturday, November 19, 2005.
Carol was born November 12, 1952, in Radford, VA. She was the loving daughter of the late James L. Earles, Sr. Carol was a Registered Nurse at VCU, Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, and she retired August, 2001. She was a life long member of the Cambria Baptist Church in Christiansburg, VA.
Surviving are her mother, Jean Britt Earles of Christiansburg; her daughter and son-in-law, Kristen Dangerfield Gutzmer and Christopher David Gutzmer of Richmond, her beloved granddaughter, Hailey Nicole Gutzmer and Lyndsey Michelle Gutzmer of Richmond. Her brother, James L. Earles, Jr. of Roanoke; nieces, Katherine Susan Earles, Kendall Christine Earles, a nephew, James Kirkwood Earles of Roanoke; her uncle and aunt, Kenneth and Jean Britt of Christiansburg, and her dear friend for many years, Sue S. Dudley of Richmond.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel in Christiansburg, with Dr. Thomas G. Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The Earles Family is being served by Horne Funeral & Cremation Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
