Love, Carl Stephen, 77, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. He was born June 27, 1933 in Portsmouth, VA to the late William H. and Rena Watson Love. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Glenn Love and another brother at birth, and a grandson, Alex Stephen Love.
He retired after 35 years of service from Wade’s Foods as a manager.
He is survived by his wife Carol Reedy Love; sons, Stephen Love and wife Lisa of Floyd County, VA and Thomas (Tommy) Love of Christiansburg, VA; grandchildren, Kayla Love and Taylor Love of Floyd County, VA; brothers, W.H. Love, Jr. and wife Doris of Kenley, NC and Raymond Love and wife Peggy of Springdale, AK.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Pastor Dustin Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
