Butch Hollins, 62, of Salem, VA went to be with the Lord and join his family on Friday, September 30, 2011.
He was born June 21, 1949 in Radford, VA to the late Harley Odell and Della Susie Underwood Hollins. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debra Ruth Hollins and brother-in-law, Lloyd Hatchell.
Butch was a respected and very good plumber. He loved all kids, especially his grandchildren, and, had a love for animals and the outdoors. He always played hard and worked even harder.
He is survived by his son, Arthur Hollins; daughter, Ruth Withrow and husband Billy Withrow, Jr.; grandchildren, Justin Hollins, Amanda New, Kennedy Withrow, and Damion Withrow; siblings, Jane Smith and husband Lamar, Donnie Hollins and wife Linda, Mary Hatchell, Tommy Hollins and wife Janie, and Michael Hollins and wife Josie; special friends, Lloyd Hatchell, Jr. and Benny Hollins; and many other family and friends to numerous to mention, but equally loved and cherished.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Butch Hollins will be conducted on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Pavilion at Bissett Park in Radford, VA.
