Brandy Acord

Brandy Lytton Acord, 31, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 27, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leslie and Ocie Lytton. She is survived by her parents, Phillip “Bubby” and Karen Simpkins Lytton; her husband, Christopher Acord; her children, Brady Kirtner, Gage Acord, and Chase Acord; step-children, Mara Acord and Gavan Acord; brother, Brian Lytton; grandparents, Paul and Marie Simpkins; father and mother-in-law, Gary and Ute Acord; as well as other extended family and friends.

She was a fighter. She would give you the world if she could. She loved her children with every piece of her heart. She was daddy's little girl and momma's little angel. She was ready for her next journey - to take her walk down the street of gold. There will never be another like her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 30, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31st at 11 a.m. at the Church, with Pastor Lee Sarver, Pastor Ray Kingrea, and Mr. Don Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the Lytton Family Cemetery, Christiansburg.
