Church, Brandon Zachary, 12, of Blacksburg, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Church. Brandon is survived by his sister, Melaina Church; brother, Andrew Church; brother, Jonathan Church; and sister, Morgana Baker. Also surviving are his parents, John Church and Michelle Baker and husband, Melvin; and his grandmother, Janet Defriece.
Brandon was attending Belview Elementary School, in Christiansburg, he was in the 5th grade. He always enjoyed going to school and he talked about the many people there, students and teachers, as his friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2007 at Horne Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Price officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The Church family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg. (382-2612).
